It’s always an event when the Bromley Symphony Wind Soloists, and this time they treat us to a captivating and rarely heard suite by the young Strauss. Before this we heat an arrangement of one of the other Strauss’s best known pieces, and the only chamber work by the French operatic master, surely one of the most adorable ever written.
