The Yamaha U1M is a well-respected industry standard instrument. With a responsive touch, wide dynamic range, and good sustain, the Yamaha U1 upright has become an established favourite amongst institutions, tutors and students.

Yamaha U1M: The perfect fit

Suitable for all levels and styles of piano playing, the size and style of the Yamaha U1 would make a perfect fit into the family home or the music practice room. With the full range of pedals and excellent breadth of tone, players can confidently use the Yamaha U1 to rehearse, with little adaptation required to play and perform on a much larger piano should they require.

This particular piano was made in Japan in 1982 and has recently been restored and reconditioned by the Hanna Pianos team. A new set of bass strings has been fitted. A full service internally and externally has also been undertaken to ensure this piano is in top-quality condition for many years to come.

As with all the pianos on offer at Hanna Pianos, for your peace of mind, we provide a five-year guarantee, including parts and labour.
