This is in thanks largely to the high quality soundboard that works in harmony with the compact frame of the B1 to deliver the crisp, pure and powerful tone you will here time and time again.  The laminated soundboard is made of 3 plies of soundboard-grade spruce producing a stable and resonant tone whilst maintaining a low price.  The compact cabinet will fit into any home and is similar in size to many digital Pianos, due to being free from pillar legs.  By taking up less space visually – and physically when it is negotiating a tight corner or staircase, the B1 is one of the most popular pianos where delivery access, tuning stability, durability and room space are a concern.  The action is a little heavier compared to more expensive instruments, but this is ideal for beginners, who often find a light touch difficult to control.  The touch remains nonetheless still extremely responsive and consistence, ensuring for a bright but pure tone across the keyboard.
