This reconditioned Woodchester Upright Piano has a wonderfully rich tone and an even, responsive touch thanks to its high-quality action. It is also capable of producing a wide range of dynamic and tonal colours. The piano has a short prop stick for the top lid if needed, and the long music desk is a helpful feature.

Woodchester Pianos

Woodchester pianos are renowned for their exquisite craftsmanship and are considered some of the finest English instruments produced at the end of the last century. The Woodchester factory, located in Stroud, Gloucestershire, was originally owned by the Bentley Piano Company, which had been manufacturing pianos there since 1911. The hallmark of Woodchester pianos was their adherence to traditional manufacturing methods, which were labour-intensive and involved many operations that required the skills and expertise of experienced craftsmen and women. The quality of Woodchester pianos is evident in their superb sound.

This pre-owned 1999 Woodchester piano has undergone renovative works by our in-house team of experts, with the following work having been carried out:
