From its inception 17 years ago, Hanna Pianos are proud to have assisted with the transportation, removal, and also restoration and tunings of their pianos. Young musicians can enjoy a friendly and inspiring music course during the week, which concludes in weekend concerts.  Young music professionals and students act as mentors and providing guidance across all orchestral disciplines.  This year’s course promises as ever to be a fun, but also social and musical experience in a relaxing environment.

The Marryat Players is the brain child of Wimbledon local Margaret Lewisohn who set up the Marryat Player to enable young musicians to engage not only on a musical but also social level with their peers. With this in mind music is interspersed with Badminton in the garden, regular breaks and brownies in the kitchen. There’s even an opportunity to try out a potter’s wheel with our resident potter Cherry Tewfik.

The Marryat Players have performed alongside celebrated international solists including 2004 BBC Young Musician Of The Year Nicola Benedetti, Alina Ibragimova and Piers Lane.  We are proud to once assist such a wonderful course that benefits the local community and developing local musicians.

The Marryat Players launched their first Chamber Music Festival at 3 Marryat Road in 2015. The programme comprises concerts by award-winning musicians, a lecture and an education programme for three young string ensembles.
