09 Mar The Marryat Players 20th Anniversary Concert
This year we are celebrating many things at A. Hanna & Sons Pianos, and as part of the festivities we are delighted to support local Wimbledon musicians the Marryat Players as they celebrate their twentieth anniversary year.
On Saturday 18th April 2020 at 7:30pm in the Great Hall at King’s College School the Marryat Players are thrilled to welcome distinguished violinist Alina Ibragimova as their soloist for this very special anniversary concert. Alina first performed with the Marryat Players in 2006 – this time she will play Bach’s double violin concerto with rising star Charlotte Salouste-Bridoux.
Also in the programme will be Tchaikovsky’s exuberant Souvenir de Florence, full of sweeping melodies and showing the composer at the height of his powers. The Marryat Players are delighted to welcome back Robert Max to conduct the orchestra.
